Hájszentlőrinc mezőváros topográfiája

In my study, I summarize the outer and inner topography of market town Hájszentlőrinc which existed in southern part historical Kingdom Hungary, today’s Serbia. My aim is to provide a methodological example for researchers historico-geography settlements. First, examine border settlement, its surroundings neighbouring settlements, then reconstruct former built-up area town. Spatial analysis made possible by medieval certificates, 18th-century manuscript maps, satellite images. east Küllőd (Kolut, SRB). During Middle Ages, it was an important centre Bodrog County: 13-14th century functioned as place authentication (locus credibilis), 15-16th centuries (oppidum). late meetings noble judiciary (sedria) County were held here most time.
